You're going to have to want to have a child for the experience to be meaningful from the beginning. If you still have doubts, don't plan for one until you're sure. Some women are born to be mothers, others are dragged into it kicking and screaming. Something occurs within you that takes over all logic--you'll either love or hate the experience. It depends on you and what you are willing to do for yourself and the child. I know you'll be a good mother, but you have to know that yourself. Talk it over with Math.

I think the Boy is trying to avoid any discussion of bebbies. I think he thinks he's too young!

ahhh... how vulnerable you are with us, your blogging audience. i love it.

i wonder if you would feel the pull a bit more strongly if you didn't have your dogs...

you're already a mamma, so to speak, so you're doing it. you're in a version of the picture. i wonder if that's twisted things a bit for your heart. what do you think?

I'm not sure what you mean. The dogs definitely help to hold the whole thing off. (I mean, Boy said that he didn't want to do anything like that until the dogs were gone. He's joking. Maybe.) And teaching as well. That's maybe the reason why I haven't done it. I mean, one day, crazy Trondell could be my child.

It was more like a reminder not to be so narrow-minded. But I don't think he can imagine himself being a dad.
